伸港國中座落在彰化縣西北角的伸港鄉，它是水鳥故鄉的最高學府，它是出產洋蔥、蒜頭濃郁鄉土氣息的學術搖籃，它更身兼本土文化高甲戲的傳承。伸港國中一直秉持著十二年國教全人教育之基本精神，啟迪學生生命潛能、陶冶生活知能、促進生涯教育發展及涵育公民責任為目標，建立在地優質、跨界視野的遠見，以「深耕本土、放眼國際」之「移動公民」為辦學理念，致力「品格、學識、體能、美感、永續、博雅」之辦學願景，期許打造一所橫跨海線、立足中部的頂尖、精緻與優質國民中學。
Shengang Junior High School is located in the northwest corner of Shengang Township in Changhua County. It is the highest academic institution in the hometown of waterbirds and produces the rich local flavors of onions and garlic. It also plays a role in the inheritance of local culture, especially in the art of Taiwanese opera. Shengang Junior High School has always upheld the basic spirit of 12-year national education, inspiring students' potential, cultivating their life skills, promoting career education development, and nurturing civic responsibility as its goals. It is established with a local, high-quality, cross-border vision, and operates under the educational philosophy of "deep cultivation of local resources, looking at the world internationally," with the mission to cultivate students' character, knowledge, physical fitness, aesthetic sense, sustainability, and broad-mindedness. Shengang Junior High School is committed to building a top-notch, refined, and high-quality national middle school that spans the sea and is based in central Taiwan.

Character education is the foundation of Shengang Junior High School’s version, establishing a friendly campus to cultivate the core values of respect, responsibility, fairness, trustworthiness, caring, and accountability in students. Through curriculum, teaching, and assessment, the school continuously improves the professional development of its teachers and enhances teaching quality, activating the learning outcomes of students in various fields of knowledge, abilities, and attitudes, internalizing them as their knowledge and literacy for future competition. The school has constructed a new campus with sunshine and vitality, strengthened physical education and sports teams, organized camps, and provided a safe environment that caters to students' aptitudes and enhances their physical fitness. It fosters an optimistic and proactive attitude towards life. Additionally, the school creates a beautiful campus environment, rooted in basic aesthetic education, and requires skilled students in professional aesthetic skills. Through camp management and the seeding effect, the school popularizes campus life and integrates school and community resources and cultural elements, enhancing the overall aesthetic education of the school and realizing students' abilities in life aesthetics. In recent years, our school has not only devoted itself to the improvement of hardware and software facilities and teaching environment to enhance teaching quality, but also actively greening and beautifying the campus to cultivate students' sentiments and exert environmental education functions. All teachers also uphold a high level of service enthusiasm and cultivate students' sound personality with unparalleled love, infinite patience, and firm confidence under the guidance of humanization and democratization, hoping to achieve the goal of balanced development of the five aspects of education.
未來本校仍將在現有之基礎上，求新、求行，講究精緻，追求卓越，激勵教師服務士氣與涵養學生氣質，提供適才適性的教育，造就具創造思考與慎思明辨之學生，並以培養珍惜鄉土、熱愛國家，具廿一世紀鄉土情、國際觀之現代化國民為目標。
In the future, based on the existing foundation, our school will continue to seek innovation and excellence, pursuing refinement and inspiring teachers to maintain high morale and cultivate students' temperament. We will provide education that fits their aptitude, nurture students who possess creative thinking and critical analysis skills, and cultivate a love for their hometown and country with a 21st-century local and international perspective as our goal.
